What makes a sign ADA compliant?

An ADA compliant sign adheres to the requirements set by the Americans with Disabilities Act. These standards ensure people with disabilities can easily read and understand the information presented. Certain contrast, placement and sizing of text and symbols, braille, as well as mounting heights are required depending on the sign type. Do all buildings require ADA compliant signs?

No, not all public buildings (and more specifically, not all doors at public buildings) require ADA compliant signage. For example, nearly all restrooms require ADA compliant signage, however most office doors do not. To determine the standards for your space, learn more here.​

Absolutely! Custom signage is our specialty. We’d love to hear your ideas and help your dream sign become a reality. Reach out to us!

What is the lead/production time on orders?

Most items on our website are ready to ship unless noted otherwise. Our standard production time for custom signage is dependent on the complexity and quantity of the order, however ship time is typically between 2-4 weeks.


For custom products that are not seen on our website, the production times will be longer. Still, we try our best to have all orders produced within 4 weeks of an order being placed. We also prioritize expediting orders if a customer has a day set in mind that they need their product in hand. Keep in mind, it is the customer's responsibility to communicate any need-by dates for any order. Please consider shipping times in your need-by dates.

What forms of payment are accepted?

For online orders we accept most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You also have the option to pay with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Please note, we do not accept American Express payments at this time.

There are no additional charges for custom text, logos, or fonts on customizable sign packages. For other items not listed on our website, please reach out to us and we’ll get you the information you’re looking for!

You should receive tracking information sent to your email, however if you haven’t received it, contact orders@rixirsystems.com. Please include your order number in the subject/message.

Do you sell Gift Cards?

Yes, we do! Gift Cards are available for purchase here.
