Renton Library
827 SW Deschutes Ave, Redmond, OR
The new Redmond Library has been thoughtfully designed to serve as an essential community hub, incorporating a variety of features that cater to local residents. Featuring multi-purpose meeting rooms, makerspaces, children’s discovery areas, and collaborative co-working zones for adults and teens, library users have access to everything they need, including the latest technology.
The interior embraces the exposed timber look as traditionally used in the area, as well as a wide array of signage for guiding library guests. Various signage includes interchangeable bookshelf markers for easy updates, cube wayfinding boxes, illuminated exterior letters, monument signs, drive-thru signage, wall graphics, and much more. Not only does the library's resources benefit the community, but their establishment was crucial to the town's operation due to Redmond's population growth by more than 225% since 1996.
